The Well Projects

Youth & Community Engagement

Through co-design and co-leadership, youth and community voices weave throughout our organization, sharing their expertise and knowledge at governance tables, funding partnerships, and continued reverse mentorship to ensure our organization focuses on the intended youth communities.

Our Safer Spaces Policy further supports our Youth and Community Engagement teams and all staff, ensuring that all members feel valued and safe as partners in our anti-oppressive, anti-racist, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive environments.

Co-Design of Integrated Care Pathways

In collaboration with youth and community engagement teams, community stakeholders, funders and intersectoral partners, The Well co-designs mental health, substance use and social service care pathways for youth to meet their identified needs, address service burdens and support existing community agencies. This collaborative re-design supports collaborative partnerships reducing siloed and fragmented service provision and increasing the safety net for youth in our communities.

Knowledge Translation

The Well doesn't make this stuff up. We follow the research, collaborate with youth wellness leaders and work to bring research to life as we develop evidence-based resources to support youth wellness. In doing this, we continue to amplify the voices and experiences of our youth and communities and collaborate to generate youth wellness centres grounded in research and evidence throughout Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce.

Community Outreach
